Get Grounded. Seek Clarity.Oct 06, 2022
This October we will work on clarity. Balloons are in the air. There is so much going on, you really must get grounded this time of year. When seeking clarity, grounding yourself is a good place to start. Taking a moment to stop, sit still and quiet. Breathe, gently, but deeply. Feel the electricity that surges through your body and search for disruptions in it, like pain or numbness. Focus on that disruption and imagine it flowing freely, without pain, without blocking you. Once quiet and calm, begin focusing on that thing your are seeking to clarify.
Being grounded can include a sense of belonging, of purpose. While you are in your calm state, ask your body "Do I belong here?" "Am I fulfilling my purpose?" Often times we feel like we can't say yes and we pretend it is OK. But, in reality, your mind cannot fool your body. The aches, the pain creeps in, manifesting the fact that you know you are out of balance. When you eat something that is "wrong" or "bad", your body tells you immediately in a variety of interesting ways. Our lifestyle, job, clientele, they can all behave the same way in your body as food poisoning. Oftentimes, you can feel it in your gut. Trust your instincts. Pay attention to what your body is telling you about your choices.
